## What it requires
AMLR Art. 83(1) requires each FIU to transmit without delay to OLAF the results of its analyses and other relevant information where it suspects fraud, corruption or other illegal activity affecting the EU's financial interests within OLAF's competence under Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 883/2013. Art. 83(2) requires FIUs to respond in a timely manner to OLAF information requests on the same matters. Art. 83(3) permits FIUs and OLAF to exchange strategic-analysis results, including typologies and risk indicators.
## Swiss position
Switzerland is not an EU member state and OLAF, the European Anti-Fraud Office, has no Swiss counterpart bound by this reporting duty. MROS's general foreign-cooperation channels run to different counterparties: GwG Art. 30 allows information-sharing with a foreign FIU meeting stated safeguards, and GwG Art. 32 governs cooperation with foreign criminal-prosecution authorities. Neither creates an obligation running to a European Commission body such as OLAF, and neither is part of this node's mapping. No Swiss provision is mapped to this article.
## Key divergences
This is a structural non-equivalence rather than a Swiss-law gap: OLAF is a European Commission body established under Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 883/2013 to protect the EU's own financial interests, and Switzerland, outside the EU, has no comparable institution. The FATF-keying correction to R.2/R.29 reflects that OLAF is not a foreign counterpart FIU in the R.40 sense but a Commission body, closer to the domestic-cooperation and FIU-function recommendations.
